Of course, to begin the process of acquiring land ownership, you must first gather a complete set of the necessary documents. If you are unable to do this yourself, it is best to seek assistance from experienced specialists.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>List of documents required from the owner<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Free land privatisation has never been a simple procedure. In our country, it is easier to buy land than to register an unprivatised plot as your own property. This is primarily due to the process of gathering the necessary documentation.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a list of the documents the applicant must prepare to register a plot of land:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ukrainian passport and the applicant\u2019s identification code (copies);<\/li>\n<li>the original authorisation from the local government body authorised to transfer the land plot into ownership;<\/li>\n<li>a document confirming ownership of the building or structure (for building plots on which a structure already exists);<\/li>\n<li>a certificate of the land plot\u2019s address, which must be obtained from the local authority where the plot is situated (for building plots);<\/li>\n<li>a land-use plan for the allocation of the plot of land.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Depending on the situation, other documents may be required. Today, citizens who have been using a plot of land for more than 15 years or who have a building on it with a registered title can privatise the land free of charge without any problems.
