Who is responsible for your data

What data we receive

  • Your name, phone number, email and the text of your enquiry, which you leave in the website form, in the live chat or in messengers.
  • Technical visit data: IP address, device and browser type, cookies. These are collected by Google analytics and the live chat widget.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, to prepare and perform a legal services agreement, and to improve the website. The legal basis is your consent and the steps needed to enter into an agreement under the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”. For EU residents this corresponds to Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR.

Attorney–client privilege

Everything you tell us in order to obtain legal assistance is protected by attorney–client privilege under Article 22 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Bar and Practice of Law”.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data or pass it on for advertising. Technical contractors have access to the extent they need it: hosting, email service, live chat, analytics. Data is disclosed to public authorities only where the law expressly requires it.

How long we keep data

Enquiries that do not lead to an agreement are kept for up to one year. Client files are kept for the period set by the agreement and by the legislation on the bar.

Your rights

Under Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” you may find out which of your data we process, access it, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and withdraw your consent. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.
